Sisu Fire Co. originated from a simple observation: there was no decent fan brand among volunteer fire brigades (VPK) and fire department enthusiasts. You could find shops of official organizations, but nothing you'd want to wear casually, outside of emergency calls.

The background stems from both VPK work and the professional side — turnout gear and the
alarm bell have become familiar from both directions. And having seen enough times how bad humor and good sisu keep the team together even after a call, the idea was born: let's create a brand that truly reflects the VPK spirit — not how some marketing agency imagines it to be.

The bear mascot is a good symbol for this: sturdy, not easily startled, and knows that sometimes you just have to power through with grit. The same applies to this shop — it started from a small idea, without big budgets, but with the same attitude you take into a smoky stairwell: don't overthink it, just do it.
